Key responsibilities

• Precision Fabrication: Execute end-to-end fabrication and assembly of thin-gauge components (1.1mm - 3mm) across various alloys, including Stainless and Zincaneal.

• Specialised Welding: High-level proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, ensuring structural integrity and clean, polished finishes.

• Technical Literacy: Expertly interpret complex workshop drawings to guide material selection, cutting, and bending operations.

• Assembly & Fitment: Utilise jigs and specialised hardware for "jobbing" work, using grinders and cutting tools for precision adjustments.

• Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous quality control through self-inspection and accurate documentation to meet industry standards.

Monday - Friday 6am - 2.30pm

$46 p/h temp to perm

What you need

You will be a welder who takes pride in what you fix and create. You will be safety focused, capable of heavy lifting and able to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication Trade (preferred)

Great to have

It would be great if you also have any of the following, but not essential

• Forklift license

• Experience working with assembly of doors
